New Book: 
The Last Week: What the Gospels Really Teach About Jesus’s Final Days in Jerusalem. Marcus J. Borg & John Dominic Crossan.
By looking at the gospel of Mark, this book attempts to tell us what the last week of Jesus’s life is about. Look for this book on the “New Book Display.”
Located across from the church offices, your library is a place for inspiration and information. Check-out a book, browse, or simply enjoy the quiet and serenity of a peaceful room.
What You’ll Find…
· An organized collection of over 1,000 books focused on Christianity, Biblical study, spiritual development, church life, family life, social issues, world religions, devotionals and meditations, inspirational biographies, and Christian fiction---topics you wouldn’t find in a public library
· CD’s of Christian, classical, and Broadway music
· The Children’s Library, located in room 108, contains an extensive collection of children’s fiction and non-fiction. These books may be check-out by church members.
The Preschool acquires and maintains this collection.
How You Can Use Your Library…
· Come in and use the library anytime the Church is open. The library is maintained by volunteers but is not regularly staffed.
· Locate materials with the electronic catalog OR
· Request help by e-mailing librarian@stjamesatlanta.org. A library volunteer will search the collection and pull the materials you need or answer any questions you have about the collection.
How To Check-Out a Book or CD
· Just sign your name on the card in the back of the book and leave it on the library desk
· To borrow a CD, just write your name in the notebook on the library desk.
· Keep the materials as long as you need. There is no limit to the number of books or CD’s you can borrow.
